Good Morning All:
My name is James Allen and I am in my Freshmen/Sophmore year in Sales and am looking for whatever help I can get. Ultimatley I would like to pass that knowledge to others w/in my firm who are struggling with the same issues.
I have been in sales for about four years now. It has been an interesting journey. I started out in retail sales, then moved to ERP sales ( What a Jump!). Now I am still in ERP sales, but have realized that my strengths lie in generating leads. I like the position that I am in because it gives me the opportunity to specialize instead of being a jack of all trades, master on none.
As a Regional Business Manager "Sales Guy' I saw everything in the sales process from generation to close. I especially like the generation part, because its what i am good at. As an Inside sales rep I am facing a lot of issues that you all have expressed and probably have discussed already.
I am ready to dive in 100%, soak up whatever knowledge I can and like Nike, JUST DO IT.
