Lol, you wouldn't be the first one

Admit it man, you've been suckered in to SP. On Sunday night, you clearly said... "I am going to leave these posts alone and only post on Wednesday nights if time allows".

That was 30 posts ago

Well, after I learned that there was a Jazz musician hanging out, I could not resist!

Seriously, I changed my mind, wanted to get past 50 so I could pay back all the people who had upped my rep ...

And, well, I am a good trainer. I figure the site could use another animal cold caller to fight the good fight against those who have never done it and quote various research surveys that were conducted with people who are also not pro prospectors!

I am on fire tonight. The writing is just flowing.

When I get around to it, my sales training book is going to be really hot.

I understand Steven but you mentioned, somewhere in this madness of a forum, that your company deals on the high end.

Our avg. ticket is approx. $600 so I don't think we would fit your criteria.

I don't claim to be a billion dollar company... I started this co., alone, from a spare bedroom in my house. A year and a half later I have 6 reps who write on average 4 deals per day. So yes, we bring in some wood but we probably do not fit your criteria at this moment.

No, it is not a fit.

However, it is great to see success. As for home based business - well, you are preaching to the converted. I started working at home 15 years ago. In Feb. 04 my ugly mug graced the cover of a North American wide newsstand magazine about home business (Home Business Journal)..

Nothing wrong with humble beginnings or working from home (I always will). Why make a landlord rich unless you have to? That's my motto.

Absolutely nothing wrong with humble beginnings. In fact, some of the largest success stories in business started from peoples spare bedrooms and garages.

When I started my company it was only myself, a telephone and a lead list from a spare room in my house. Now, a year and a half later, I have a small office with 10 employees (6 sales reps). I'm proud of our growth and project having 20 reps by mid 2008.

I've paid my dues working for various companies, pounding the phone and/or the pavement for 2 decades.

It's a pleasure working for myself and I treat my guys with the utmost respect. In return, they work their a$$es off for me and all make an easy 6 figs plus. I'm proud of them and they represent everything I've worked for like it was their own... I couldn't ask for anything more.
