I'd like to ask for opinions on what to include in an email sig file besides the obvious contact information. I'm thinking a mission statement or USP would be good. Your thoughts?

I think the USP in your signature is a good idea.
As for the signature itself, I wouldn't get too cute or fancy with fonts, colors and/or graphics.

How do you set up the sig? I've wondered, but never enough to spend 20 minutes browsing menus.

Send a blank email to this address for an article that explains in detail how to create a sig file for most of the popular email programs.

Thanks, Big Mike. I got your email. I use outlook express, but have neglected to create a sig file because my husband and I share a computer and the Outlook Express. Since you can only use 1 sig file, I assumed it would appear on all accounts--which wouldn't work for us. Your post prompted me to dig around some more. I discovered that we can't both have a sig, but I can prevent mine from showing up on his screen name. Now ONE of us will have a sig.
