I help people own New Toyotas, and sell our trade-ins (all makes) via internet avenues. I use a Follow-Up system called "Send Out Cards" to take care of my clients and contacts for life; and this, I am also a distributor for... I guess I don't really sell it, but while it is shared with others, and they see how much it would help their business; I get paid when they implement it in their business.

Send Out Cards

Send Out Cards is a multi level marketing business many people in sales are joining for two reasons: 1. send out cards to clients, etc, 2. and create another stream-of-income while they do their primary business. Locally, I have four friends: 1. real estate, 2. virtual business support, 3. small business consultation, and 4. insurance sales who are with Send Out Cards.

How is Send Out Cards working for you, FollowUpMaster as far as:

1. sending out cards?

2. creating another stream-of-income?

AND, do you treat recruiting people into Send Out Cards as a sale?

MitchM, your "Send Out Cards" topic would be an excellent new thread, so perhaps you would like to post your question there.

Who else would like to share what product/service they sell in this thread?

Sendoutcards is working great for me, thank you for asking. I started using it in November of 2007 (Just 3 months ago.) I haven't signed anybody else up, yet. I really wanted to see first the impact in my business; so that I could quantify what it is doing for me. What I can say, is that in the last 3 months I have gotten more referrals than I did in the entire previous year. (Not signing up people in SOC, but selling a vehicle, or a toyota.) I have sent out 404 cards thus far (so my cost was about $408, and my distributorship was $399). With the additional deals I can directly attribute to SOC, the return has been a little over $1300. So, I am already in the black; and no complaints here.

Yes, it is exciting to have the possibility of another income stream, but for now, I am content with the additional sales, improved relationships, and the kind feedback I am getting from my clients. I look forward to a future career that will be getting to work with clients that have either done business with me before, or were referred to me by somebody else. It looks bright.

I am happy to discuss ideas with anybody who'd like to consider it, or who has questions.

Kindly,

Tobias.

PS: Mitch, what feedback have you received from your friends?

Where I've Been

I've been involved in a range of offerings which typically involve technology in B2B setting:
1. copiers, overhead projection systems for 3M (about 4 yrs);
2. (my one veture outside technology) flooring;
3. Xerox copiers, then, ethernet-based word-processing before anyone had launched desktop computing (about 4 yrs);
4. Apple computer (almost 10 yrs);
5. a number of small, entrepreneurial ventures based on a variety of technologies:
a) computer vision-based to:
(i) global RR community; and,
(ii) global steel industry; then,
(iii) global bottling industry;
b) software for laptops which worked like call display registering a source phone number on our server in BC so if the laptop were stolen, it would "call home";
6. recruitment in IT (this was a GREAT job);
7. IT advisory services together with VERY high-end professional services (competitor of Gartner which bought the company);
8. a number of system integration shops (ie. computer hardware + software + services);
9. some consulting on sales management issues (which I'm doing once again);

I need to talk to the Guidance Counsellor who told me about finding a "job for life" ...

Good luck & Good selling!
Pat

LOL Pat. Mine told me to take typing and accounting because I was good in Math. What a waste of a glorified mouth piece/silver tongued devil that would have been.

You made me laugh.
