Using speech recognition, I’m currently composing this post in conjunction with my dell computer and Microsoft’s speech recognition!
Using commands and dictation as well as a USB headset I’ve composed for the first time. What a wonderful experience!
What I recognize is my father, now in his 79th year, could use this to write a book and otherwise use his computer to be productive. What a marvel!
I had resisted the use of speech recognition myself merely because my own typing skills are quite proficient. Now I see how even I can use this system to save time, effort and avoid carpal tunnel syndrome!
You may have noticed I am over using my punctuation and is there any wonder why? I simply cannot believe how we easy it is to use this technology. All I need to do is copy and paste this dictated post into a thread and I’m done.
Considering it’s the first time I’ve used this technology, I must say I have had to do very little editing other than using voice command recognition. Amazing!
