MLM Lawn company?
Hi everybody i am just curious about this idea i came up with, i currently have a small lawn care operation while i am still in school. My question is this, is it legal to start a MLM lawn care business and what is required to do so? I am unware of how or if that is allowed. Could someone chime in please i would really apreciate it.

Well you pay a certain price per cut then if you introduced more customers your price would go down and then you could pocket the difference.

Hi MoneyMaker. If I didn't use your service but I referred customers to you who did would I get a commission for each of those referrals and would I get a commission for every sale my referrals brought in later?

If you are in the U.S. call Rod Cook, the MLM Watchdog. Locate him through his website;
www.mlmwatchdog.com Tell him Steven Burke sent you and buy his MLM Start Up Guide, it is like $150 or so. But I warn you, before you speak to Rod, unless you have a minimum of about $250,000 in the bank to start such a business venture, Rod will hammer at you to give your head a shake. The issue with MLM businesses in the start up[ phase is; if you are successful, it grows exponentially. All other businesses, except technology related ones (which are not the same issue to deal with) grow linearly (in a more controlled fashion) and can therefore be built mostly on sweat equity. As for your business idea, I won't comment on whether I think it warrants considering as an MLM service. Rod can help you understand that. And www.mlm.com is the right place to be posting for MLM questions, not salespractice.com.

Well thanks for the input, thats why i posted it in the off-topic discussion forum. It was just an idea i wanted to see what you all would have to say. I am not interested in buying any MLM tips at this time.

Not sure many here would know how to answer the question.
It is not a bad idea to post such a question, was just my suggestion that you would be more apt to get more input at the forum about MLM than the one about sales practice(s). Anyway, if you are serious that book gets you an hour's consulting with one man who can set you straight. |
