My name is Nina, and I'm new to the sales profession. I'm working as an aviation insurance agent for a small family business that's been around for quite awhile. Despite not having a formal sales background, I'm pretty quick at learning new things. Right now, I'm responsible for generating new business for the company--and that involves picking up marketing skills that were not part of my formal education.
I joined this forum looking to gain knowledge about sales skills and marketing techniques, particularly how to get my foot in the door (or through the phone) to talk about my product. I am also interested in hearing from others on this board who are introverted and how they use having an introverted personality as an advantage in their career.

Welcome, Nina. Using introversy (is that a word?) as an advantage. I must admit, that is a new one for me. But if you are looking for anwers and ideas, you have come to the right place!
