[The Office] - What would you do with DWIGHT?
i have coworkers here who are a replica of dwight. one woman is such a faker. pretends to like you but behind your back will create lots of rumors and will do anything to take your sale. she's loud and obnoxious and flirts and giggles and touches people in that subtle way that can cross the line of inappropriate, etc.
i would love to put all her stuff in a jello... |

LOL, it sounds like you've got your hands full.
Really, the best advice I have to offer is to encourage you to be yourself, work your tail off, and make something of yourself in your company. Try to ignore all the political bull, even though it can be difficult. As you get more experienced, you can play the political game, but some people just aren't good at that, no matter how hard they try. If you can, find a mentor or two in your company that you can trust, and use them to learn the ropes. But businesses don't like whiners, so don't whine, even to your mentors. In time, your performance will define your reputation, and you'll find yourself on a more secure footing. This is assuming that you like your job and the company you work for, and that you think the investment of time, energy, and patience will result in a career that give you the financial rewards you want/need, but also a company and career that you feel good about. Otherwise, you might be better off making a switch to a company that you feel better about (my response is based not only on your post in this thread, but also posts in other threads). Best of luck!
