I'd hire me. I'd hire me because I'm teachable meaning I look at whatever new thing I do from the standpoint of knowing nothing - suspended past experience even if it's something similar - to determine what it is I need to learn to do to be successful.
I enjoy continual learning and always ask myself if I am missing something or not doing something I should be doing or seeing - I probe myself and hold myself 100% accountable for my actions
I'm willing to admit mistakes and have open discussions about myself to improve.
I'd hire me because I can foucus on the immediate for long term success. I can organize what I need to organize to track what I do.
What are my weaknesses? I can be very laid back and not drive myself when I should even though I'm a self starter - but I respond to someone prodding me if I need that from time to time which my current superior does do.
Also, I can accept less of myself and just lay back and enjoy life when I should be more proactive.
I've self started and taught myself things from scratch many times in my life and I can do it again - with the help of whatever structure this new job gives me and the demands it puts on me, I can be very successful. I love personal challenges.
So Mitch, the other guy is fired. You're hired!
