Grain of Salt

Welcome to our world, Wayne now it's Wayne's World too!

I have best friends in Michigan who are in the real estate profession both residential and commercial - they do well even in a challenging environment because they are professional and work hard. I wish you the same success as they are having - they've also joined a BNI group which has helped them get referrals.

When my wife and I traveled to Malsysia to spend five months there opening up business for our company in '03/'04 my friend Joe taught me this: We Chinese say to the young ones starting out on their journey in life: I have eaten more salt than you have eaten rice.

The best advice I can give you here Wayne is to take everyone who posts, myself included, with a grain of salt and come to your own conclusions and answers for selling success. None of us here are experts in any absolute sense of the word BUT each of us has value and believe we can contribute something important to someone in these conversations AND we all have selling experience.

I believe the whole is greater than any one of us and from that you may learn and improve. Some of my greatest lessons come from those here and other places who challenge me the most.

The best of the best to you.

MitchM

Cool! We have been very busy. I think the gap between the ones doing well right now and the ones doing very little is getting wider. If you are trying to sell your home in this market - you are pretty particular who you hire.

Again, thanks for the warm welcome. I don't consider myself an expert but I do have experience in corporate sales and Real Estate and have been pretty successful in both. I really get interested in the skill sets used for selling. I am not what most would consider a natural salesman but I have developed the skills to become successful. I am always willing to learn more and look forward to the opportunity here.
