Where to get good negotiation training?

Our business is looking for recommendations on where others have gone for negotiation training. Does anyone have a good experience with this?

Thank you for the info on Richardson. The other classes I keep hearing about is Karrass. Does anyone have experience with either of them or know anything about them?

Hi Julie,

Mediation Works Incorporated (MWI) conducts open enrollment and customized on-site negotiation training programs. Our work is built off the ideas generated at the Harvard Negotiation Project and captured in the bestseller Getting To Yes, by Fisher, Ury and Patton.

Check out www.mwi.org/negotiation/index.htm or call me at 617-973-9739 x24. I'd be happy to discuss the differences between MWI's programs and Karrass or others you've come across.

Best,
Stephen

other Negotiation training firms

Hi Julie, good B2B negotiation training firms include

www.baygroup.com

www.vantagepartners.com

www.e-thinkinc.com

and Miller Heiman private labels a negotiation program from Accordence, www.millerheiman.com

Disclaimer: I worked at Miller Heiman in the 90s and consult to Think! Inc. now so I am biased towards their solutions, but each firm has pro's and con's depending on your exact industry, size of firm and needs (such as language and customization)
