A wish come true!

"Be careful what you want because you will surely get it if you think about it hard enough."

I cant remember who said it but it came true for me. All my working life I have wanted to work from home. And after 30 years as a salesman I got my wish. On Christmas Day 2003 I woke up in hospital after a heart-attack!

Now 30 years previously when starting in the Insurence business I had sold myself Critical Illness cover (paying out in the event of a heart attack), Income replacement cover and Private Medical Cover. Even when times were hard, ('could hardly pay the mortgage) I clung on to those covers.
So with the money from the critical illness I bought a friends business and he started to work for me. He is great when sitting down with a prospect but not at calling on the phone. I love calling people so we agreed our roles in the business and I achieved my wish to work from home 100%.

Both of us are now making more money (we are now business partners) than we ever did before.

That's not how you expected it to happen but it happened - keep smiling Sam. That is fantastic. My friend Veronica lost her job and it was a blessing in disguise. I went full time working from home in 2001 after building up a check with out company which is network marketing. It's a great lifestyle with lots of freedom perks, Sam.
