What is the long term liability? - by realtor
Mr Client:

I understand that you feel that you will have to continually pay the premiums and that is a burden.

Tell me..If something happened to you what would be the burden on your family?

Most of my clients would agree that the small payment is worth the peace of mind to know that their family is taken care of.

And if you find you no longer need the coverage, then you can discontinue the payments.

Have you or wife had any illnesses...and go into filling out the application.

If he says I don't want to fill out the app now then you can say. Mr. Client, you don't have to pay me now let's just fill out the application so we can get the most accurate quote based on your health history. Then if the terms are acceptable I can pick up a check then. - by Sell4alivn
Let's keep an open mind here.

Think this way:

Customer Objection/Resistance = Their Objective

again, their objection is their objective.

In what way can you as the professional (advisor)help them accomplish their objective, within reason? - by MaxReferrals

1)I dont want long term liability by paying permium for life Insurance.

** So you want to eliminate or remove any form of liability
with a life policy? Help me understand what you mean by liability.
Do you mean a commitment on your part?

2)20-25 years is such a long time, I dont want to pay premium for such long time.

** So this is also your concern with what you just mentioned,
correct -- being committed to a long period of time? You
want to keep your commitments to a short period of time?
What time makes you most comfortable. - by MaxReferrals
