Brilliant decision ditch; there's nothing to develop without landing profitable projects. There are many great designers and developers without sales and marketing skills. The good news is, selling ain't rocket science.

Learning the right questions to ask, when to ask them, and how and when to respond is the place to begin. If you don't know what your client wants, you cannot provide it, and they will know it.
