I'm from Tennessee...been in Advertising/Marketing Sales for twenty plus years. I love the challenge, the excitement, the entrepreneur side of B2B sales. I love the people and did I mention...the money is kinda nice too. By the way, did I mention that I love sales!

I don't think I went into the forum looking to get something out of it but more what I can give. I have seen so many young sales people with great potential fall by the wayside because they get discouraged. I want them to know what a great business this is and with a little patience, courage, and simply being who they are they can make it.

I agree with you. Plus, I think a good salesman has to learn self-encouragement otherwise it's hard to endure so many depression and refuse in the daily work.

It takes a combination of things but most of all it takes attitude and a belief in yourself plus a desire to be the best. You have to always be yourself, always tell the truth, no matter what. Always put the needs of your client first. Listen to what your client has to say because if you are not listening how can you possibly give them what they are asking for? Yes...you do have to be able to take a certain amount of rejection but the more you try and the longer you are in the business the easier it get and the better you get. Hang in there!!! YOU CAN DO It!!!!
