Follow Ups

Sales Training »
I've composed my own marketing emails as my company don't really use this as an option. I think that the content was quite pleasing and now's the time to follow up. However what is the best way to approach it?

"Hello (Decision Maker) *** calling from Acme. I sent you some literature to read 2 weeks ago and you asked me to call you back today regading following this up."

Do I just go for it and ask for the appointment?

I was thinking along the lines of..........

"Now that you've read what my company can offer, I'd like to meet with you for 5-10 minutes to present this in more detail relevant to you"

Feedback? -krashslaughta

My personal opinion is that you should strike when the iron is hot. Immediately asking for an appointment without heating up the prospect first will likely result in less than desirable results. -Bulldog

Yes...at this point you "go for it" and ask for the appointment. -MPrince
