Hello all!
I am working in outside sales for a Golf & Ski resort in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. My previous sales experience was as an Advertising Sales Rep with a newspaper. I have a lot of great products to offer to clients, but right now my own worst enemy is me. Basically everything I am doing right now is cold calling--there has not been a dedicated outside sales person for some time (if ever) here. I am creating the contact lists, etc. I have great flexibility with my schedule, and great fringe benefits--I just can't get over the hump of cold calls.
My husband is retired from the Army, and spent a decade as an Army recruiter, so has a lot of valuable input for me. However, he is a BORN salesman, and I definitely am not.
I am looking forward to input from all of you out there!
Rebecca
